What is an integral blind?
A blind that lives inside your double glazing. It sits in the gap between the two panes, sealed in for good, and you control it from outside the glass.

Questions we get asked
What is an integral blind?
A blind built into the gap between the two panes of a double-glazed unit. It is sealed in for life, so it never needs cleaning and cannot be damaged by everyday use.
Can you fit them into my existing windows?
Often, yes. We replace the sealed glass unit with a new one containing the blind and keep your current frames. We confirm this on the free survey.
Do they help with heat and energy bills?
Yes. The blind sits inside the insulated cavity, adding shade in summer and helping to hold heat in winter.
Do I need an electrician for motorised blinds?
Not with the Up&Down battery system: it is rechargeable and needs no wiring. Suncen and All in One run from the mains, which we can arrange.
What happens if a motor or control fails?
Sun Bell keep the electronics outside the glass, so controls can be serviced or replaced without changing the sealed unit.
Do you cover my area?
Yes. We deliver and fit across the whole of the UK, from our base in Huddersfield.
Where are the blinds made?
The blinds and controls are designed in Italy by Sun Bell. Your sealed units are manufactured to measure here in the UK.
